BURIED ALIVE...
Antigone, one of Oedipus' daughters is expressed through Graves & Tombs. By the end of the story, Creon, Jocasta's brother and the current king of Thebes, buries Antigone alive. There are many legends as to the reasoning behind this act such as Antigone carrying the genes of "dirty blood" down her family line since she is technically the daughter and sister of Oedipus. Although there are different beliefs about why she was buried alive, Antigone is affected by the Graves & Tombs topic. |
